Exporting a Ringtone to an iPhone

To export a recording as a ringtone to your iPhone drag the file onto the iPhone button in the Library or select the recording and click on the iPhone button. Your iPhone must be connected for the iPhone button to be active.

To export a recording as a ringtone to an iPhone:

Be sure the iPhone is connected.
Select the recording to be exported.
Click on the iPhone button, or drag and drop the recording onto the iPhone button.

Click on Send and the recording will be exported to your iPhone as a ringtone.

There is no shortcuts option for the iPhone as there is only one destination for files sent to an iPhone.

Note: It is not possible to export recordings to your iPhone's music Library. Because there is no way to set the iPhone to manage its music manually in iTunes, when choosing the iPod export destination your iPhone will be listed, but will result in a "-54 error".

To add WireTap Studio recordings to your iPhone's music Library, export the recording to iTunes, and then use iTunes to add the recording to the iPhone.
